An Outcomes-based Approach

The framework articulates clear outcomes to support the development of SEL Competencies. By crosswalking several frameworks, there are clear identification of needed behaviors, habits, and approaches to develop in our students.

Banded Grade Levels - EY to 12

The competencies and anchor standards have been further articulated at banded grade-levels (EY, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-10, 11-12), bringing an even greater degree of clarity of what we should be teaching toward and developing in our SEL programs.

The organization of the framework allows you to elevate program develop for SEL programs to a level typically ascribed to academic subject areas. The Implementation Tools support a process to create a guaranteed and viable curriculum for SEL at your school.
